Our ESOL classes start on Monday, 18 February and we are back in room 20:)
# All learners needing ESOL assistance will receive at least 2 lessons per week and some learners will receive 3 lessons per week.
# Parents are encouraged to speak English with their children at home for at least a half hour, as this will help your children reinforce what they have learnt in class.
# Encourage your children to read English books, watch English educational programmes & visit the local library.
# Learners are welcome to take reading books home from the ESOL class, which are to be returned within a week.
# You are welcome to contact me via email or pop into the classroom.
WHO ARE WE?
We are students who come from diverse groups where languages other than English are used at home or in the community. We are bilingual and multilingual students representing an increasing proportion of our school population.
